This Regency Townhouse is our holiday home and is ideally situated just moments from the Brighton seafront in the fashionable area of Kemptown with its mix of great pubs, coffee shops, restaurants and independent shops including antique and retro stores, gift shops and great food stores. The beach is easily accessible at the end of our road. The house is less than a 10 minute walk from the famous Royal Pavilion, the Palace Pier and the Lanes & North Laines shopping areas making it an ideal base for your short break in Brighton. Late nightlife can be found in the centre of Brighton, just 15 minutes on foot or a £6 cab ride away. Brighton is popular all year round with a wide variety of concerts, conferences and annual events making it an ideal destination for a weekend or midweek break any time.
Our Grade 2 listed house is over 160 years old and as you would expect has a number of original features including decorative mouldings, sash windows, a narrow staircase and sloping uneven floorboards! It is arranged over 6 floors meaning plenty of space for your group to spread out, whether for work or a conference visit, a family gathering, hen party or just an excuse for a break away with a group of close friends. Despite its age we offer all mod cons including two 43 inch flat screen SMART TV (with freesat), blu ray DVD player, Bluetooth BOSE speakers, DAB radio and free wireless internet service throughout.
There are 5 bedrooms, 2 with en-suites, as well as a separate living room with sofa beds, an additional makeup/lounging room and a kitchen/dining room rounded off with a further 2 family bathrooms and a ground floor cloakroom/WC. Our house comfortably sleeps 15 in proper beds (1 superking double, 2 standard doubles, 3 single beds and 3 sets of bunkbeds and 5 in sofa/chair beds (3 single sofa beds in the lounge and 2 chair beds in the bedrooms).
The house has been simply but stylish redecorated by ourselves for our own use with friends and family throughout the year as a perfect retreat from day to day life. The white walls with feature wallpaper and coordinating soft accessories enhance the feeling of light and space in this bright house, creating the perfect airy, sunny space for your relaxing break.
